This is a photo of my face 7 weeks in from when I stopped taking Gleevec, a medicine that prevents CML cells from building up in the body. I’m encouraged because, while I couldn’t really see it just looking in the mirror, it actually does look like the swelling in my face has gone down.
Of course I’m sure it helps that I’ve dropped exactly 10 lbs since that day, but still, it does look better already.
