More on My Nephew

I was over at mom’s on Friday and my little grand-nephew Jeremiah was there. He started off again with a lie. This time he told me I don’t have a name. I responded with: Jeremiah, that’s not true and you know it’s not true. I love you no matter what and will already pay attention to you. You don’t need to say things that aren’t true. So let’s do better. Don’t say things that aren’t true. Say things that are true.

At first he tried to say it was true, and I told him it wasn’t and he knows it wasn’t. Then when I explained in greater detail that he didn’t need to say things like that, that I loved him no matter what, he seemed to think for a moment and then asked me to chase him. So I ran around and chased him for a little. Then I gave both him and his sister big hugs and told I’m loved them both.

Let’s see how this goes down, but I think he got it.

Poor little guy has a growth down below his chin and he might have to have surgery on it. I’m praying he’ll be ok. They really are such great kids.
