Add to your faith virtue- moral excellence. When we respond to Jesus, it should generate a new morality derived from the resurrection of Jesus.  

Let your faith inform the way you look at the world. The lie from the devil is that what you believe shouldn’t influence the way you live- but that’s just detachment. You move from faith to virtue, and from virtue to knowledge. If your faith isn’t informing the way you live, then you won’t have experiential knowledge of who God is. The only way to see God in the midst of your world is to live in the world in the way God says you should live. If you want to see God, you need to respond to the what Jesus asks you to do. You might think it’s impossible to love your enemies, but when you take the step of faith to do so, God’s love fills you and you realize you can do it because the Lord is working in you. You begin to experience a little of God. But you have to allow your faith to inform the way you live.
