Wherein I embarrass my coworkers to my own amusement. 

So when I was working in construction, we were over in the Cheviot Hills area of West LA, which, if you aren’t familiar with it, is a pretty upscale area. We were working on a new construction site and laying a foundation, and we had dug a fairly deep hole, about 5-6 feet, and I was down in the bottom of it tying up some rebar, when my boss and another guy look around and notice a pretty girl walking by. They mention that she’s very pretty. At which point, I, safely hidden down in the hole so I wouldn’t have to suffer any of the consequences for my actions, decide to scream out: aaaaUUUUUUU, Bayyyybyyyy.  

My co-workers immediately try to hide their faces and curse me: Dave! You IDIOT!! for having done that, meanwhile I’m down in the hole just laughing away.  

Probably not cool, but I thought it was funny. 

Would I do it again? No. It might have made the girl feel uncomfortable too. But admittedly, I wasn’t thinking of her, I was only thinking about how I could embarrass my two co-workers. Hopefully she didn’t feel unsafe at all.
