Addicted to Love– Robert Palmer
Cool song, but the classic video is kind of what seals it. Four models dressed in little black dresses, supposedly playing the song behind Robert Palmer but clearly only there to sway back and forth seductively while they don’t even try to look like they’re actually playing the instruments. Quality entertainment.
He has another song Addicted to Love that contains the line- “She’s so fine there’s no telling where the money went”
Everybody Wants to Rule the World– Tears for Fears
GREAT song! ‘nuff said.
Don’t You Forget About Me– Simple Minds
I feel like everyone knows this song- kind of a classic 80’s hit from a classic 80’s movie.
Walking on Sunshine– Katrina and the Waves
If you weren’t in a good mood before this song came on, you will be after.
Your Love– the Outfield
Morally questionable lyrics and I don’t know how any guy can sing that high without takin’ one to the nutsack, but this is just a good song.
Take On Me– A-ha
Another classic 80’s tune, but it makes the list for a reason. Has a kind of weird phrasing… I mean who says “take on me”? But the song was so catchy you couldn’t help sing along.
