So I just completed my second month off of the Leukemia meds. The results of the blood test show that I’m still under the level necessary to stay off the meds, but it was up from .0048 to .0099.

it has to be under .01 to qualify, so I was up from last month, and just barely under this time. I’ll have to wait and see what happens next month, but if it continues up AT ALL, I’ll probably have to go back on the meds, at least at some level.

Anyway, I’m a little less hopeful than I was after last months, when the numbers had actually gone down, but who knows, maybe this was just an anomoly of how much was detected in this particular batch of blood drawn. I’ll have to see. Even if I have to go back on, it was nice not having to take the medicine for 3 months.
