So just yesterday I switched my website, davewalstonillustration.com over to a wordpress site. This gives me some options that I have been wanting to do for a while. Since moving out of freelance work nearly 2 years ago and getting a full time outside job, I no longer want to use that site as an attempt to get work. I already have work. I converted it to an online gallery of art I’ve done that I like and want to have available to show other people I run across in life. I had also kept a few other options available as online portfolios: Instagram, Behance and of course here on Tumblr. 

Instagram has been converted more into my daily social media. I occasionally post some work related art stuff on my dave walston illustration facebook (and then put it on my wall too) but for essentially a year and a half, I’ve basically given up facebook. 

Tumblr I’m keeping around, and I’ll even keep some art work here, but I may end up using this as more of a journal than a portfolio.
