So today I bought some stuff to make a Gingerbread house.
I love the recipes from Serious Eats, so I chose this one for my Gingerbread cookie dough.
Got out my ingredients:
mixed up all the dough:
Rolled it out, cut it into the proper shapes, and cooked it up.
(Pro tip kids: don’t work with flour when you’re wearing a black tee)
assembled it all and put it together:
And then did the cruddiest job decorating it imaginable….
So it’s small, lopsided, and awfully decorated, but I can now say I’ve made a gingerbread house at Christmas time. Hooray
