This would be our last day in Boston and I didn’t have really anything on the agenda. Decided we’d wander around the north end, Boston’s little Italy,
and I went to Caffe Vittoria for cappuccino.
Very disappointing…. not a legit cappuccino.
I can’t even express how tired my feet were of walking 20k steps every day by now. So we went back to the hotel
and tried to map out our remaining few hours. Then we took more steps than I wanted to by walking to a nearby riverside park.
Back to the Boston Public Market for lunch and another pastrami sandwich,
and then we returned to the hotel to pack up and head out. Took the metro back to the airport and decided to stop at Harpoon right next to the gate for a beer. There we sat next to five Albanian ladies flying back to Fort Lauderdale and had a blast talking to them. They even taught me how to say “cheers” in Albanian- gëzuar! Then got on a 4:30p flight back to LAX.
